The given diagram depicts how leather goods are manufactured in the factory.
Overall, it can be seen that the process comprises seven main stages and animal skin is the starting material for the production of leather goods.
According to the process, initially, animal skin is dried before it is delivered to the factory by truck. Then, dried animal skin is washed in a composition of water and lime until it is completely hydrated. Whilst, lime is not absorbed into animal skin. After that, a machine is utilised in order to flatten crude leather, followed by a stage in which flat leather is soaked in tannin, a mix of water and vegetable. Prior to being transported to another factory for making final products, leather experiences the stage of polishment. Finally, leather is used to produce several kinds of products such as shoes, bags, and balls which can be distributed to the market.
