The diagram below illustrates the development of the coastal village Seaville in the two years, 1980 and 2010.
Overall, there is a change in the infrastructure and facilities. The vegetation around the village had been cleared by the end of the three decades.
In 1980, a main road is seen crossing the center of the village, with an extension running south of the holiday cottages. This is intersected by another road passing through some woodland and a marsh. A river flowing to the north separates the village from the east bank. The village had a couple of facilities like a hotel and some holiday cottages that bordered the marsh to the south, and a tea room on the opposite side of the hotel.
By 2010, two more road extensions are seen; one that run to a retirement village established and another cutting through the river. Additional hotel and holiday cottages have been established to the south east separated by the river. To the south of the retirement is also a new book club and a restaurant, which is adjacent to the one of the hotels. In the west side of the village the marsh has been replaced by large area of permanent housing. Much of the woodland is gone and in place is a golf course.
