The diagrams below show the design for a wave-energy machine and its location.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.
The given diagram illustrates blueprint along with possible location of the wave-energy machine. The wave energy machine can be installed at two places one is near to the beach another is some distance from beach.
The distant wave-energy machines receive large waves, produces high output and has more installation process whereas the wave-machine near to beach gets small waves thus it creates low output and can be built with low cost.
The design delineates that the machine has two chambers with two turbines and electricity generator, the foremost chamber contains sea water, by continuous waves the water level increases and it pushes air into another chamber where the turbines are present. With the air flow now turbines will spin at the same time, from other inlet due to atmospheric pressure air from outside will enter into second chamber, thus the turbine rotates and produces electricity by generator.
Over all, the wave-energy machine utilizes tidal energy to produce electricity. The location of installation, however, creates a difference in administrative costs and output level.
