The diagrams below show the design of a wind turbine and its location Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make the comparison where relevant

The diagrams show the structure of a wind turbine that generates harnessing wind power and its potential locations.

Overview, it can be seen the turbine consists of 5 parts which be designed for different works. There are three places that the turbine can be built to some extend.

The process starts when the wind flows come toward the blades that were made from fiberglass or wood. As a result, the blades will rotate with speed depending on the wind strengths. The resulting moving operates the generator below which can be covert the wind into 1.5 megawatts electricity. Above the generator, there is a wind sensor that is connected with a computer which is situated nearby the turbine in a house. The wind sensor is used to measure the speed and direction of the wind flows, then the computer will get this information to adjust direction and angle of the blades in order to the quantity of wind power could produce as much as it can. Lifting all these parts up high is a tower by steel thickness that can optimize the wind strengths for blades.

Wind turbines can be situated in different places. The high hills where the wind turbines could turn move strongly the most by the wind strengths while the domestic turbine only generates around 100 kilowatts. In contrast, the amount of energy that could be converted from the wind turbines in the oceans smaller than in the land, but it does not impact on the landscape.
