Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagrams present the structure of a wind turbine and where it can be placed. Overall, most turbines are very large and located at blank spaces.

All of the wind turbines have the same shape. It includes four basic parts. First of all, it has a tall tower made of steel. At the top, there are three blades which were made of fibreglass or wood. When there is a strong wind, the turbine will spin. Its speed and direction are controlled by a computer which receives information from wind sensor. Followong this, the out put that is about 1.5 megawatts of capacity is produced.

According to the diagram, there are three possible places for a turbine. For large turbines, it should be located at weather side of a hill, where has the strongest wind. Another position is rooftop, where can find a domestic turbine producing 100 kilowatts of power. The last possible place that most turbines are located is in the sea. It not only has strong wind but also does not affect the land because the distance is about 10 - 60 kilometres far from shore.
