The diagrams below show the life cycle of a cotton T-shirt.Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given process illustrates the different stages such as production, consumption, and disposal through which a cotton t-shirt goes through.

Overall, it can be observed that it is a time-consuming and complex process that involves human intervention to complete the entire cycle of the cotton t-shirt.

To begin with, the cotton that is harvested on a large scale is picked by a cotton picker. Then, it is sent to a place for converting into the bales. Those bales are transported to the manufactures for the next stage by lorry. Next, these bales are threaded and weaved into a piece of fabric before it is forwarded to a finished product. The fabric is colourless, so it is a prerequisite to be treated for colour before it is designed. After colouring, it is sent for cutting and sewing. T-shirts which are made from the fabric are propelled towards packaging.

Thereafter, those packages are dispatched to shops where it is bought by a consumer. The consumer wears those t-shirts. After its usage, they throw in the trash bin. However, the best way of disposal is recycling.
