The pictures illustrates information about the biological clock of the silk worm and the steps involved in manufacturing silk materials.
Overall, it is clearly seen from the first diagram that the description of silk worm life process in four different stages. Likewise, the yielding of silk cloth through five steps has been explained in the second chart.
In case of silk worm wheel of life, it starts from delivering eggs as a first stage and off spring delivery as a fourth stage. Firstly, the matured silk worm delivers eggs on the Melbury leaf which becomes their food at the second stage which is after 10 days of span. At this point, the larvas comes out of the eggs, followed by that the well nourished larvae produces silk thread around their bodies between the duration of four to six weeks. That is called as stage 3. After that, approximately three to six days of time it creates the cocoon. Finally, from stage 4 to 16days, the larva develops their wings and body after which the moth is released from the cocoon.
On the other hand, production of silk cloth starts from selecting the cocoon. After that, it was boiled along with water. As a result of step 2, that is after boiling, each cocoon provides about three hundred to nine hundred meter threat. Then, a specific number of threats were twisted professionally and dipped in the colour for dying purpose. In order to make it as a silk cloth, the coloured threats were weaved after when the silk products are ready sequentially.
