The diagrams illustrates how the water supply system in Australia operated at present and in the future.
Overall, the structure of the system is expected not to change at all during the period. However, there will be several changes in the delivery of pure water, stormwater and waste water.
Main contributors of the whole system include a storage, a water treatment plants and the consuming areas, which are anticipated to be maintained in the future. On the other hand, stormwater has a basic change, in which it is anticipated to move from the residential areas to the factory instead of to the river now.
Pure water is delivered to local people for daily activities and work. The source for this is taken only from the dam currently and will be taken more from the water treated at the plant in the future. The plant is the place where used water is cleaned and recycled both now and in the future.
