The first charts below illustrate the number of the inhabitants during 300 years from the year 1700 to 2000 and the rate of the death and birth during these years is compared in England and wales.
According to the first bar chart, it is clearly manifest that the population of England and Wales were following an upward trend during these years and from approximately 9 millions (the year 1700) climbed to noticeable amount near 49 millions ( in the year 200).
On the other hand, when it comes to second charts, the birth rate was the lowest (almost 9 per 1000) in 1700, while the rate of death was almost more than 6 per 1000. By the years 1800 both death and birth reached its peak rate by almost 16 and 22.5 (per 1000) respectively. However, both of these phenomena experienced swift drop subsequently and accounted for close 11 and 5 (per person) for birth and death rates in 2000.
To sum up, it is distinctively demonstrated that the population faced dramatic rise during these years, although the birth and death rate was almost as much as the earlier year.
