The given maps show condition of Felixstone in 1967 and in 2001

Two maps illustrate how Felixstone have developed over two different time periods (1967 and 2001).
Overall, there have been several changes, the most noticeable being demolishing the farmland with the construction of a swimming pool, hotel and tennis courts. Moreover, the fish market was demolished and a private beach was developed.

One change that stands out is that there has been a significant redeveloped over the whole period. The shops to the east of high street were replaced with a new complex of apartments. The farmland was demolished and the surrounding area was redeveloped with a hotel, a swimming pool and with 2 tennis courts.

Another noticeable change is that near the hotel constructed to the south of the golf course, was developed a car park. The pier that led to the sea was removed, although the dunes, the cafe, the golf course, the shops and the hotel are still there.
