The chart bar illustrates the diverse ways of spending spare time by children in Australia. It depicts comparison the activities preferred by boys and girls.
Overall, the percentage of girls engaged in various activities does not outnumbered those time spending by boys by a significant margin. While all interests were relatively similar between the sexes, there was some variance, especially in watching tv or videos where the percentage of both trends was the highest.
With regards to skateboarding and rollerblading, the percentage of girls interested in it was the smallest, reaching approximately 21%. For boys, the trajectory was less poor, the percentage of children engaged in arts and craft was at its lowest level at 38%.
In addition, the interest of both sexes includes bike riding and electronic or computer games, the percentage of boys have doing either riding and playing games nearby at 78-80; meanwhile the fraction of girls interested in them was only 58-60%. Among all leisures watching tv and videos took 100% of young one's time.
