It is very clear to see that the number of people who travelled by both car and train tends to increase, as opposed to bus which experienced a decrease. In 1940, the number of people who traveled by car was about nearly 5 millions, which was slightly increased to 7 millions in 1970 before reaching the highest point, at 9 millions in the final year. The number of people travelling by train began at 2 millions in the first year and then remarkably climbed to 3 millions in 1970, which jumped to 5 millions after 30 years. meanwhile , there was a minimal plummet from about 4 millions in 1940 to 3 millions in 2000 in the number of people who traveled by bus
