Essay topics:

The graph below shows the average number of Vietnamese students studying in France, Russia and American between 2000 and 2015.

The given line graph illustrates the changes and differences in the number of Vietnamese students who studied abroad provided by three different countries, particularly in France, Russia and America, over a fifteen-year period from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there were upward trends in most countries, except for Russia that bucked the trend. Noticeably, regarding America, the figure started at the lowest number in 2000, while the number of Vietnamese reached a peak at the end of the period.
In particular, in terms of America, the number of Vietnamese students in this country stood at the lowest score with roughly 1.5 million students in the beginning of the period. At this point, there was a significant growth to 5 million in number of students in 2015, which accounted for the highest.
Similarly, concerning France, the number of Vietnamese students started at about 3.5 million students in 2000 before declining considerably to approximately 2.5 million students in the next five years. Afterwards, the year 2010 witnessed a stability at the same number of students. Then, there was a substantial increase to around 4.5 million students in 2015.
On the contrary, when it comes to Russia, it demonstrates the opposite trend, the given graph experienced a steady decrease from 3 million Vietnamese students in 2000 to a low of under 2 million students in the following decade. Then, the average number climbed slightly to about 2.5 million students in the year 2015.
