The graph below shows the average number of Vietnamese students studying in France, America and Russia between 2000 and 2015

The line graph compares three countries namely France, Russia, and the US in terms of the average quantity of Vietnamese students learning there over the 15-year period.
It is clear that there were significant changes in the average number of Vietnamese learners in all three nations shown on the graph. While students from Vietnam in both France and America increased considerably, the opposite was true for Russia. Also, the figure for the US was biggest over the period shown.
In 2000, there was an average of 3.5 million Vietnamese learners in France, in comparison with 3 million and 1.5 million in Russia and America respectively. Over the following five years, there was a significant decline of approximately 1 million in both France and Russia. On the contrary, the figure for America witnessed a remarkable increase of 0.5 million.
From the year 2005 onwards, t can be seen that Vietnamese people enrolling in American schools showed an upward trend and reached 5 million in 2015. By contrast, the figure for Russia fell gradually and hit the lowest point of nearly 2 million in 2010 before rising steadily to 2.5 million at the end of the period. During the same period, there was a substantial increase in the figure for Vietnamese learners in France, with roughly 4.5 million after remaining stable from 2005 to 2010.
