Overall, it can be seen that the amount of margarine and butter which were consumed increased, whereas the consumption of low fats decrease decreased over the period shown.
Looking at the margarine data set in more detail, it can be seen that the this consumption stood at 82 grams in 1981. this number declined to 80 grams in 1986, and then this number grew exponentially to 100 grams in 1996, By 2007 it had dropped to 40 grams in 2007.
Turning to the remaining in to data set, it is evident that the consumption of butter rose from 140 grams in 1981 to 160 grams in 1986 ,which was the highest point on the chart. this number decreased steadily to 55 grams in 2007.
Finally, The amount of lowest fats which was consumed increased from 10 grams in 1996 to 88 grams in 2001 , and after this number fell slightly to 72 grams at the end of the period.
