The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kind of meat in European country between 1979 and 2004.

The line graph illustrates a comparison of a different kind of meat and fish which consume by European from 1979 to 2004.

Overall, it can be manifested that the consumption of meat and fish decreased during the given period except for chicken.

To begin with, the consumption of beef was the highest in 1978 which was around 220 grammes per persona per week. But, then the consumption of this decreased gradually to near about 160 grammes in 1984 after this it experiences a slow increase in 1989 than it falls dramatically to just above 100 grammes in 2004. Moreover, consumption of fish was the lowest and stable during the whole given period which was about 50 grammes.

However, although the meat of chicken and lamb had the same popularity in the initial year which was around 150 grammes per person per week, these both experience opposite trend from each other. Consumption of chicken was increase with time and reach a high of around 250 grammes per person per week.in 2004. Whereas, the consumption of lamb was a decrease with time and reach around 80 grammes per person per week with some fluctuation.
