The graph illustrates the amount of four different kinds of meat which the European consumed from 1979 to 2004 period.
Overall, it is clear that fish was the least commonly used of food while chicken considered the most consumed meat throughout the period. Despite the fluctuate increase in chicken, the figure for lamb and beef decreased at the end of time.
In 1979, the amount of beef using was the highest among the four types of meat, at about 220 grams per person per week. The figure for lamb was lower at 150 grams consumption. Although the consumption of beef reached a peak in 1982 of about 240 grams, it felt moderately to 100 grams in 2004. The consumption of lambs was lower at under 150 grams after the period it declines to 50 grams.
The figure for the chicken showed a similar trend to lambs despite some minor decline, it reached the highest consumption at 250 grams in European countries. By contrast, the fish was eaten remained the same which was the lowest among fish and meats.
