The given line graph depicts how consumer preference to fish and other types of meat change which surveyed in a European country extent from 1979 to 2004. Generally, despite having fluctuated constantly, it is clear that chicken consumption had the upward trend while beef, lamb and fish were on decrease progress with different accelerations.

According to the visual, it is worth noting that beef exceeded to be the most favorable option chosen by people with more than 200 grams consumed per capita in a week in the year of 1979. Meanwhile, there were around 150 grams of chicken and lamb eaten at the same time and fish marked the final place with just over 50 grams.

During the 1979-2004 period, per week the amount of chicken consumed by a person substantially climbed to rank first for approximately 250 grams. On the contrary, beef showed a significant shrink to about more than 100 grams eaten but still occupied the second place, followed by lamb and fish. Apparently, the lamb consumption's line expressed the considerable decline throughout past 25 years. Finally, fish still remained its position by mildly plunged to under 50 grams per capita per week.
