The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports in three different areas.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words

The line graph demonstrates the amount of wheat exported in Australia, Canada and the European Community over a five-year course beginning in 1985.
Overall, it is immediately evident that there was a downward trend that can be seen in the surveyed areas, with the exception of the European Community. Also, wheat from Canada was widely distributed more than the other two in most time during the period.
As can be observed from the chart, the figure for Canada stood at roughly 20 million tonnes and simultaneously top the list. Canada after that had witnessed a slight decrease before rocketing substantially and reaching its peak at 25 million tonnes in 1988. However, the number shrank abruptly to just under 15 million one year later and continued rising 5 more million tonnes at last.
With the remaining countries, Australia started at the most humble point with only 15 million and ascended minimally to about 16 million in 1986. The amount of wheat then fell consistently and finished at a lower point compared to the initial one, with approximately 12 million tonnes in 1990. In contrast, European nations experienced a moderate decline right at the first stage, from around 17 million down to almost 15 million tonnes. The number, however, started to go up again and surpassed both Australia and Canada to become the king at the end with just above 20 million tonnes.
