Displayed in the line graph is the number of air pollutants in various sectors of The UK during the period 1990 to 2005. Units are measured in million tonnes.
Overall, it is clear that the industry released the highest amount of emission pollutants over the period given whereas the transport and households were the same as starting point but they were different at the end of the period.
Particularly, there was 7 in total air pollutants in 1990, then which saw a remarkable decline to precisely 4 in 1999, and felt continuously to just over 3 in the final period. With regard to the industry, it began at 5,5 before dropping slightly by 0,5 in 1993, just as decreasing to exactly 3 in 1996. Afterwards, the year 2005 witnessed a fall to 2, which was two-thirds of the figure for total air pollutants.
In 1990, just under 1 was the number of air pollution in transport and households. Subsequently, the number of emission pollutants in the transport was 1, which was double the figure for the households before the similar number of air polluted with approximately 1in 1999. Next, the amount of emission polluted by households was half as many as the figure for the industry at the end of the period while the households witnessed a decrease to just over 0.
