The data, which has been presented in the form of a line graph, shows the case number of men and women infected with flu from February 1996 to the end of the same year. The initial impression from the line graph is that the flu rate among female was higher than male’s throughout the year.
The figures for males and females both started off at 0, rising moderately in the next two months then rocketed in June at 3500 and just over 2500 cases respectively. The next three months, fortunately, witnessed two significant drops of around 1000 cases from the two genders’ flu rates, which were followed by gradual decreases in the rest of the period, the former finishing at slightly under 2500 and the latter finishing at 1500.
