The given line graph represents about the number of books read by both men and women at Burnaby public library over 4 years.
The volumes read by both men and women followed different trends. In 2011, the number of books read by men increased steadily between 2011 to 2012 by 3000 to 4000 books. After 2012, the number rose dramatically and reach its peak by 14000 books till 2014. The number of books read by women gradually increased until 2013 by 10000 volumes before it receeded in 2014 by around 5000.
In 2011 the women started with 5000 books and end up with 8000. There is an Increase of 3000 books over four year period. On the other hand, men started with 3000 and ended them with 14000. Men increased the number of books by 11000.
Overall, women read more books than men at the beginning but in 2013 the number decreased. Aa a result, men only read more books comparetively with women between 2013 to 2014 .
