It is noticeable that the number of visitors visiting the Caribbean island in total experienced a considerable increase throughout the period. The data also indicate that the period brought a slight growth to the number of tourists visiting the Caribbean island who staying on cruise ships, whereas the number of visitors staying on the island experienced a marked elevation during this time.
In 2010, 1 million visitors came to the island. 0.75 million visitors stayed on the island, while another 0.25 million were staying on cruise ships during that year. The following year, the number of tourists in total witnessed a little growth to 1.75 million, half of million visitors stayed on cruise ships while the data for the number of vistitors who stayed on the island saw no change, which is 1.75 million. In the next 2 years, the number of visitors who stayed on the island experienced a slight rise from 0.75 million people to 1.5 million people, while the statistic for that of visitors staying on cruise ships was 0.5 million people.
From 2013 to 2015, there was a subtle rise in the total o 2.75 million tourists 2015. The number of tourists staying on the island witnessed no change while the number of tourists staying on cruise ships experienced significant growth by 1.3 million people. For 2016, 0.75 million tourists were staying on the island and 1.5 million tourists were staying on cruise ships. The total of tourists in that year was 2.75 million visitors. In 2017, 3.5 million people visited the island. Among them, 2 million visitors were staying on cruise ships and 1.5 million tourists stayed on the island.
