The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007

The given line graph illustrates a comparison of three kinds of foreign tourists visiting to three various areas during a 20-year period, starting from 1987 and ending in 2007.

Overall, it is evident that the amout of tourists visiting the coasts was highest and the figure for the mountains was lowest. Additionally, the number of visitors visiting all three places witnessed an upward trend throughtout this time frame.

To begin, over 40 thousands people flocked to coastal locations in 1987. There was a slight decline of 5 thousands visitors who visits the European's shores, after which a gradual growth in the number of tourists outside Europe visiting its shore. Meanwhile, the amount of the international visitors who visits the mountain locations in Europe is over 20 thousands, then there was a slight increase in this figure to over 30 thousands in 2002 and then jumped into 35 thousands in 2007

Moving to the lakes, for the first fifteen years, starting from 1987, the figure for the people living outside Europe who visits this continent’s lakes rose dramatically and reached a peak of 75 thousands tourists, at which point this figure started to fell sharply, reaching 50 thousands visitors.
