It is clear that, in year 2010, about 75 percent of total visitors (0.75 millions) decided to stay on island. After remaining constant for one year, that count doubled (1.5 millions) in year 2013 and remained steady over next 2 years untill 2015. Although, after one year, the trend of staying on island slightly decreased to approximately 1.25 millions, by end of the given period it again Rose and attained previous figure (1.5 millions).
With regards to tourists who stayed on cruise ship, in year 2010, their count was 0.25 millions which jumped in the next year and became double (0.5 millions). However, during year 2012, it declined and got intial count. After 2012, there was a drastic growth in visitors who liked to stay on cruise ships. In 2014, from total 2.5 millions visitors, 1 millions visitors lived on cruise ships. It is important to consider that, in final year, more than half of total tourists chose to live on the ships rather than on the island.
Overall, what stands out from the line chart is that the total number of visitors to Caribbean island is dramatically surged over given 7 years. additionally, trend of staying on cruise ships compared to staying on island significantly grew in that period of time.
