The graph below shows the percentage of people going to cinemas in one European country on different days.

The bar chart illustrates the proportion of moviegoers in a European country in a week in the years of 2003, 2005 and 2007.
Overall, it is clear that the majority of citizens in that country went to cinemas at weekends. We can also see that a shift towards movie-going more frequently by the end of the 4-year period.
In each of the years, approximately 75% of people in that country went to cinemas on Saturday and Sunday. Roughly 10 to 15% of citizens reported watching at cinemas on Monday and Wednesday, while around 15 to 20% of people went on Tuesday and Thursday.
Between 2003 and 2007, the proportion of people who watched films at movie theatres at weekends rose by almost 3%, except for the sudden rise of 5% in 2005. Besides, it seems that cinemas received more customers on Saturday than on Sunday, with a higher rate of 10%. While the percentage of moviegoers on Friday maintained unchanged at 30% in 3 years, considerate changes were witnessed on other days. In fact, the percentages of moviegoers on both Tuesday and Thursday experienced a moderate drop of 3% before climbing again to 18% at the end of the period. On the contrary, a significant sink of 8% from 16% in 2003 to 8% in 2007 was recorded on Tuesday.
