The below graph illustrates the rate of retired people, who will have been living between 1940 to 2014, in Japan, Sweden, USA.
Overall, fraction of older people, who lived in Japan, Sweden and USA, will have been inclined over the 100 years but surprisingly, trend will be inverted at end of 2040.
In 1940, rate of retired USA citizen was highest with 9%. This was slightly higher than Sweden and Japan, which were lived 7% and 5% respectively. Fraction was slightly decreased over the 1980 to 1995, after gradually increased by 40 years of period, before will have been steadied over next 20 years from 2000. Fraction will be sharped increased from 2020 to 2040 to finished at 24 percent.
On the other side, rate of Sweden citizen followed USA trend by difference of 2% until it overtook the proportion of USA in 1997. Although, rate will be slightly declined in 2025 before it will be at peak point(25%). Proportion of aged Japanese will have been rocked over 100 years (over 25%). except, decreased between 1940 to 1960.
