The graph illustrates the quantity of chicken, beef, lamb, and fish consumed in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

The given bar chart depicts the usage of fish and three types of meat in a European country within 25 years.

At a glance, it is obvious that chicken is the only type which has not had downfall between 1979 and 2004. In 1979, the fish started about 60g/week and had a slight drop till 1984 and then ended below 50g per week. Furthermore, the lamb and chicken started in 1979 around the 150g range. While the lamb had a downward trend till the year 1999, the chicken had an overall upward trend until 1999 and then showed a sharp rose till ended in 2004. Finally, beef was the highest consumed meat in 1979 however, it had significant drop until 1984 and then showed an overall downward trend till the end which resulted the chicken became the highest consumed meat in 2004.

overall, it is clear that people in the european country move away from the beef and lamb but increase the use of chicken. Further, the fish is not much affected by time.
