The graph show changes in spending habit of people in UK between 1971 and 2001
The pie charts above show the number of UK people who switch over their spending activities in the past thirty years specifically from 1971 to 2001. It is measured in percentage. Overall, the precentages rose dramatically in cars, thus it had the highest increase. Instead, the percentage fell sharply in food. According to the data, in 1971, the number of people who chose food more than a quarter of the chart. This part had the highest member surely 44% from all of the participant who spent their habits. 22% came from cars part. Following with that, furniture and petrol had the same percentages approximately 9-10%. On the other side, restaurants had the amount 7%. Books obtained the lowest participant definitely 6%. Then in 2001, the top number was cars, it has been lees 7% to a half of the pie chart. Thus, it reached a high of percentage from 22% to 43%. In the same way, computers rose steadily 10% since 1971. Restaurant peaked at 14%, it increased 7%. Nevertheless, the proportion dropped slightly in furniture and petrol, it was around 1-2%. Similarly, 5% deriveration occured in books. Food hit a low of number 14% compared to the data in 1971.
