The line graph demonstrates the spending figure of books in four distinct nations over ten-year period, from 1995 to 2005.
It is obvious that residents in Germany spent more money on books than the other countries. However, the amount of money was used for books going up in four nations over the given period.
In 1995, 80 million dollars which was paid out for purchased books in Germany. Meanwhile, the spending figure in France and Italy were fairly similar, at 55 and 55 million, respectively. Besides, the statistic for Austria was much lower, at 30 million dollars. In spite of fluctuation, the data for Germany in books continued to be higher than the others, then reach a peak at roughly100 million dollars.
There was a steady escalation in the amount of money spent on books in France, reaching a figure of 75 million in 2005. This was similar to Austria, where the expending figure climbed significantly from 40 million in 2001 to 72 million in 2005. In Italy, the expenditure revealed a gradual rose over ten-year period, then finally reached the figure of merely over 60 million dollars in 2005.
