The bar chart illustrates information on the average number of items sold on Saturday in two typical bakeshops in London named Lovely Loaves and Bernies’s Buns in 2010.
Overall, the Bernie’s Bun bakery was generally more successful than the Lovely Loaves on a surveyed Saturday. As observed, doughnuts were the best-selling product in both bakeries. Specifically, salads were the least popular in Bernie's buns whereas, in Lovely Loaves, toasted sandwiches were not as popular as others.
In terms of Bernie’s Bun, doughnuts were by far the most popular item, about 135 species were sold. The second best-selling snack in this bakery was cookies, about 15 pieces lower than doughnuts. Looking at rolls, which were not sold as much as cakes, were about 15 pieces lower. Additionally, chips were bought almost as much as cookies, at nearly 73 pieces and 75 pieces. By contrast, Salads were less common than toasted sandwiches overall, about 12 sold-out items lower.
Regarding the Lovely Loaves, cookies sold were not quite as much as cakes, compared to 70 pieces and 75 pieces. As can be seen, rolls and fresh loaves are almost as popular as chips, which were nearly 40 snacks. While salads were the fourth best-selling products, with 63 sold-out pieces, toasted sandwiches were significantly sold 20 snacks lower.
