Overall, the number of patients, who contracted X disease, rose dramatically until the mid seventies, remained constant for 5 years, before dropping to zero in the late 80s.

At the beginning of the period, only 100 cases, who contracted x disease, was

reported in iran. this condition remained stable for 5 years, with figure

standing at same level. An outbreak of X disease occurred in this area, with

figure rising dramatically to 500 cases in 1975.

For 5 years from 1975, no changes were seen in the number of cases of X disease. Suddenly, a dramatic dropping was reported in iran about the number of cases of X disease. this trend continued until 1990 when iran was free of this problem. From this time to end of the period iran transmitted X disease.
