The presented graph illustrated the number of workers died from an important injury in New Zealand between 1992 to 2010. The overall trend is downward bar some short periods where the numbers may rise again. Certainly, by the end of the period the number is significantly lower than the start. And it has reached its highest number of 6,632 in 1994.
The number of severe injuries began approximately at about 6,217. There was an immediate though minor increase in the next two years until it hits a peak in 1994.it has followed a decreasing pattern with the exception of the year 1997, then it has dipped modestly until 2002 where the number of death is 5,534. it's a period of gradual increase in the next 4 years, with a dramatic decline which is predicted to continue until 2010.
Overall numbers of fatalities fluctuated, though there is a modest decrease at the end of the period in comparison with the beginning of the survey.
