Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
» Write at least 150 words.
The bar graph illustrates how many funds that the UAE government allocated in Health and Education percentagewise from 1985 to 1993; while the line one gives information about lifespan and infant mortality of this country in the years 1970 and 1992.
Overall, as can be seen from the pictorial, the amount of expenditure spent on pedagogic and body-associated fields experienced an upward displacement throughout the years. On the other hand, in the latter designation, life expectancy underwent a noticeable upheaval; simultaneously, the number of infant fatalities nose-dived steeply.
In the former graph, investments in education went from 10% at the beginning of the period to roughly more than 14% in 1990. In the end, the percentage rose to about 14.3%. Meanwhile, allocated money in health made up almost 8% in 1985; however, five years later, the percentage fell to just approximately 6% and in 1990, it rocketed to 10%.
In the meantime, life expectancy was stretched horizontally when people could live at least ten years longer than they used to, from 60-year life to 70-year one. What’s more, infant mortality per 1000 decreased sharply by more than tenfold, from 70 in 1970 to 20 in 1992.
