The chart presents the 3 different categories of music albums acquired by people in Britain in accordance to various gender and age.

Evidently, Rock Music is the most sort after music album in Britain, primarily by male consumers with 30% purchase, followed by female consumers (20%). This is followed by Pop Music and Classical Music with total purchase of 40% and 16% respectively, with higher demand by males in Classical Music and by females in Pop Music.

Rock Music is popular between people 16 to 34 years of age, with an average 30% purchase, and 20% in 35 to 44 age category. However, numbers decrease significantly above 45 years of age to 10%.

With an average 37% of sales, it is apparent that Pop Music is appreciated equally among people across ages of 16 to 44, although, numbers drop to 20% in people 45 years and above. It is noticeable that Classical Music is in low demand among younger people with barely any sales made, while it is increasingly sorted after by people after the age of 24, with an increase from 16% to 20% in purchases.
