The table shows us the percentage of mobile phone usage for seven different goals in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
In general, people often use mobile phones to make calls. However, the percentages of the other seven functions all increased.
In 2006, everyone was on the phone. 66% of people took pictures. Sending and receiving text messages accounted for 73%. There are 17%, 12% of people play games and play music.
In 2008, it was still a 100% cell phone used for calling. Taking pictures now accounts for 71%, 75% of people sending and receiving text messages. The percentage of people playing games and music is about 42 and 41% respectively. Some people played music twice the number of people on a tape recorder.
In 2010, 99% of people made a call. The number of people taking pictures, sending messages, and searching the internet is not much different. They bought 79%, 76% and 73% respectively. Game play unchanged is 41%. Video recording and music playback are 35% and 26% respectively.
