over a period of 80 years starting from 1920
Overall, both the fertility of two countries were unstable. the US birth rate generally higher
than the birth rate of China , however, both birth rates followed a very similar trend.
From 1920 to 1945, the birth rates in two nations witnessed a significant variation.
In 1920,china's fertility was 10 and increased to 15 after 15 years.Howerver, after that,
it plundged by 10 within 5 years.The US had the same trend when it decline nearly 8 in 1945.
BETWEEN 1945 AND 1950 , the birth rates of china and us experienced a upward trend .
The fertility in china peak its highest point of 20 and in the us, from the lowest to 15 In the period 1950 to 2000, there were downward trend in both china and the us.The birth rate
in china slide away from 20 to about 2 and somewhere in the vicinity of 10 in us.
