The illustrations show how chocolate is produced.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram reveals the process of making chocolate.
Overall, it can be seen that there are ten main steps in the process, beginning with growing cocoa trees and ending with producing liquid chocolate.
In the first stage of the process, people collect cocoa fruits from cocoa trees that are grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia. After that, they separate the white cocoa beans from the red pods and then ferment the cocoa beans. Next, farmers spread the cocoa beans under the sun until they are totally dried, then packaged in many big sacks for transportation.
In the following stage of the process, cocoa beans are delivered by lorries or trains to the factory for processing. In this place, the cocoa beans are roasted at a high temperature, about 350 degrees. Then, they are crushed into powder and all the outer shelves are got rid of. Finally, the cocoa powder is pressed and liquid chocolate is born.
