The line chart below shows the results of a survey giving the reasons why people moved to the capital the city of a particular country.

The line graph illustrates the motives which caused people to migrate to the capital city of a specific country.
Overall, the main reason for relocating was employment and study throughout the period shown, while family/friends and adventure were minor reasons for doing that. It is also noticeable that the number of people moving because of study, family/friends and adventure experiences the greatest increases over the period given.
In 2000, around 60,000 people migrated because of employment, while study, family/friends, and adventure were the reasons for relocating of 25,000, 11,000, and 10,500 people respectively. In the year 2010, the number of people who moved to seek job opportunities reached a peak at around 92,000, while the figure for other solutions such as study, family/friends and adventure rose steadily to approximately 56,000, 22,000 and 12,000 respectively.
By 2015, whereas the number of people migrated to the capital city because of study, family/friends and adventure continued to increase gradually to approximately 87,000, 22,000, and 14,000, that figure for the occupational sector dropped and shared the same number with the educational sector with 87,000.
