The line graph provides information about the population size, birth and death rates in two different places in Britain between 1700 and 2000.
Overview, both population size and birth rate showed an increasing trend, whereas the death rate noticed a declining pattern within given places. Moving to population size, it improved slightly from around 2 million in 1700 to 10 million in 1750, but it remained the constant in 1800. However, the population rate had soared significantly and reached a peak of 50 million in 2000.
In contrast, in terms of birth rate, it showed a marginal increase and then stabilised at exact 40000 in 1800 but it plummeted rapidly to reach a mere 22000 in 1950. Between 1950 and 2000, the birth rate had risen from 22000 to approximately 34000. At the same time, the death rate in both England and Wales had escalated over the period of the first hundred years then it fell down, reaching 20000 in 2000.
