Essay topics:

The line graph below shows changes in the amount and type of fast food consumed by Australian teenagers from 1975 to 2000.

The line chart illustrates the amount of convenient food which was consumed by Australian adolescents over the course of 25 years from 1975.

Overall, what stands out is that Hamburgers were the most preferred junk food to Australian youths. Besides, while the amount of Fish and Chips dramatically decreased, the reverse tendency was true in the consumption of Pizza and Hamburgers.

In 1975, the number of eaten times of Fish and Chips was recorded at 100 times, far exceeding that of Hamburgers, standing at around 12 times. Conversely, the lowest point belonged to Pizza consumption, with approximately 5 times. In the ten consecutive years, concerning the data on Hamburgers and Pizza, the former and the latter escalated to about 85 times and 33 times, respectively, whereas the figure for times that Fish and Chips was eaten dropped by nearly 20 times before ascending to almost 92 times in 1985.

In the remainder of the period, the number of consumed times of Hamburgers surged and reached a peak of above 100 times in 2000. Meanwhile, the amount of Pizza eaten soared and hit the plateau at just over 80 times from 1995 onwards. By contrast, the consumption of Fish and Chips nose-dived and ended at just under 40 times in 2000.
