The line graph provides the information about the regional household recycling rates of United Kingdom, France and Germany from 2005 to 2015.
Overall, the recycling rates of the United Kingdom and Germany showed a steady but significant rise over the 10-year period, while the percentage of recycling waste in France experienced a downward trend.
In 2005, the recycling waste of the Unites Kingdom and Germany were nearly 20% and 35% respectively. Germany had a steady increase from almost 35% in the beginning and ended up to more than half in 2015. Meanwhile, for United Kingdom, they experienced a minimal rise in percentage until 2009, wherein a very small number were added. After two years, a significant growth of more than one fifth is noted, then by 2015, they became the highest in recycling waste at 60%.
In early 2005, France were leading at 50% of the total household recycling rate, but experienced a downward trend until 2013 with a one in ten difference. Although after that year they started to increase, at the end of the period, they were still the lowest at almost 40% in total.
