The line graph compares the rates of tourists in terms of their visit four different attractions in Scotland from 1980 to 2010.
It is clear that the percentages of tourists to Castle an Zoo had an upward trend over the period shown. In particular, Castle ended up the most popular attraction, showing a dramatic increase during the given period; however figures for Festival and Aquarium experienced a considerable decline.
In 1980, 30% of tourists chose Festival, while 20% of them visited Aquarium. The figures for the final year decreased significantly to 17% and 8% respectively.
On the other hand, the proportion of tourists to Castle witnessed a twofold growth to 45% in 1995, reaching the highest level, followed by a gradual fall of 12% in 2010. That for Zoo fluctuated between 15% and 9% from 1980 to 2000, before rising to 20% in 2010.
