The given line chart compares the quantity of students from three different countries, namely Iran, Greece and Turkey, who enrolled at Sheffield University during a four-year period from 2005.
Overall, the numbers of international enrollment from Iran and Turkey witnessed an upward trend, while the trend of that from Greece was downward.
To begin with, started with the lowest number at only 40 people in 2005, the figure for Iranian students rose slightly in a year later, then levelled off at the number of around 70 students during the next 2 years. However, the figure saw a significant fall by 30 students in the year 2009. Meanwhile, that of Turkish students showed a sharp growth from 20 to nearly 90 students in the first half of the given period, continued to increased gradually in the next 2 years in the rest period, and ended up with 120 students in 2009.
On the other hand, from the highest figure recorded, at 180, the number of Greek students enrolled at Sheffield University dropped drastically and reached its low at 70 students in the year 2007. However, the figure started to saw a steady rise to 80 students between 2007 and 2008, followed up by a rocket jump to 160 students in 2009.
