The line graph shows the household recycling rates in three different countries between 2005 and 2015

The line graph gives information about the percentages of domestic recycling waste in the UK, Germany and France from 2005 to 2015.

Overall, the household rates in the UK and France showed a significant rise, whereas the percentage of recycling in Germany saw a downward trend.

In 2005, the household recycling percentages in the UK and France were 35% and 20% respectively. However, the percentage of recycling waste in France experienced a dramatic increase and surpassed the data of Germany in 2009. During 2009 to 2011 the recycling rate in France went up steadily and reached to over 55% in 2015. In the same time, after a steady 2-year-period, the domestic recycling rate in the UK soared up to 55% in 2011 an gradually increased to 60% in the end of the period.

According to the graph, Germany was the country which had the highest rate of household recycling, at 50%. However, the period between 2005 and 2013 saw a dramatically decline to 30% and slightly rose to 40% in2015. Therefore, Germany became the least domestic-recycling-percentage nation among the three countries in the and of the period.
