The percentage of CD users was 50% in the UK in 1997 which means that the growth in this category was constant from 1997 to 2001. Mobile phones were used in 1997, in the UK with the beginning at 40%, and this figure climbed swiftly progressing in the next 5 years and traversed to 80% by 2001. On the other hand, using computers accounted for 20% in 1997, although this category also incremented dramatically, rising from about 20% to around 90% during the period. In the meantime, the proportion of the usage of the internet was 10% in 1997 which is gradually increased and reached 40% in 2001.
Overall, Most of the users choice computer rather than other technological gadgets in 2001. This category experienced a sharp growth from 1997 to 2001, whereas there was a continuing upward trend in the using of other devices expect CDs and DVDs.
