The map illustrates the changes took place in the Ryemouth village in the specific two time periods 1955 and present.
It is clear from the given information that in 1995, there was a farmland area attaching with forest park located to the east side and was a hotel corner of the two roads where two roads intersect, to the south side. To the opposite of the farmland area, a structure of some accommodations built just along the main road in rows and over the roads to the west side. To the south of the housing, a number of shops were developed near to the main road. Moreover, down to the road, there were a fish market, cafe and fishing port, in the sea, to the south side.
Now, farmland and forest park are replaced by golf course and tennis court. Along with this, a cark park facility is added next to hotel. Furthermore, fishing port is now removed from the ocean, and apartments are constructed in the place where the fish market was before. On the place of shops, locals have now new facility of restaurant. What’s more, the number of accommodation have been increased on both sides of the main road, and a new road is now extended towards west.
Overall, the Rymouth village experienced now many significant changes over the period given.
