The map shows two potential sites for the construction of a new school in Banrook.
The first site is located in the countryside, to the west of the town and near the main road lead to Linton. Therefore, it would be easily accessible for children from Linton and countryside to go to school. Another advantage is that student cannot be affected by noise pollution. However, it would be disadvantageous because students from the east of the map will get difficult to go for a long distance to school every day.
If the school is constructed in the centre of the town, surrounding by the residential area, it would be ideal for being equidistant for both students from either housing or countryside because they can easily reach the school. Moreover, there is no traffic allowed in the town central. Therefore, pupils can be safer to study here. However, one major problem would be travel arrangement problem.
Overall, building a new school in the S2 would be the best option because of easy access and safety for children.
