The map shows two potential locations for a new supermarket in the town of Garlsdon.
It is clear from the map that the first site (S1) is in the countryside, while the second site (S2) is in the heart of the town center. Additionally, the crucial transport system for both supermarket locations is a railway.
According to the map, S1 is outside in the town to the northwest of Garlsdon, but this site is within easy reach of the housing zone. Meanwhile, S2 is also surrounded by the residential area and the industrial area.
There are three main roads from Bransdon, Cransdon and Hindon to Garlsdon town center. However, there is a central no traffic zone, this is unable to reach S2 by car. By contrast, the position of S1 can allow accommodating a lot of cars. Both supermarket sites are near the railway which links between Hindon and Cransdon.
