The map below is of the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the town. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket.

The picture illustrates two different positions expected to build a new supermarket in a town called Garson, which has 65,000 people live there.

Overall, it is clear that one site, which is in the center of the town, predicted to build a supermarket, and another site is a suburb.

On the one hand, if the supermarket constructed in the middle of the town, it will attract more consumers who live in the houses and industrial zone nearby. Besides, people from Brandon and Crandon, which have population 15,000, 29,000 and are 16 km,25 km from the center respectively, also go there by the main road.

On the other hand, if the supermarket built-in the place S which is in the northwest countryside, consumers from Hind on, which has population 10,000 and is closer than 10 km from the center, can easier go there by the main road. Both sites are close to the railway which goes through Grayson from Hind on to Cranston.
